About Centrehouse

Welcome to Centrehouse. We are a Commmunity Art and Leisure Centre located in Lane Cove, on Sydney's north shore. As a not-for-profit organisation that provides quality learning and creative experiences for adults, children and teenagers of all abilities and backgounds. Providing a personal and relaxed enviornment, we run classes in art, crafts, leisure and languages during the day, evenings, holidays and weekends.

Centrehouse is committed to the development of culture and creativity in our local community and nationally. We host art exhibitions and awards for students, teachers, local children and emerging artists across Australia. The annual Eve Vonwiller Youth Art Awards is open to artists aged 5-17 years while our Lloyd Rees Memorial Youth Art Award (for artists 17-28 years old) is run bi-annually (next in 2009), with prizemoney in excess of $7,000.
