ABOUT THE COURSE

Learn the basics of Mandarin in a relaxed environment. This course covers interesting and practical topics related closely to your daily life visiting China. Through an interactive classroom approach, you will learn social Mandarin in a simple way. This course is great for people who intend visiting China on business or travels. The class will concentrate on the basics to communicate while you are away.

What to Bring. Bring an exercise book for note taking.

ABOUT PHIL XU

Phil has started his tertiary level Chinese Language teaching experience in Shanghai University, China in the early 1980s. After migrating to Sydney, Phil was invited as a Chinese Language Tutor by a university in Sydney mid 1990s. Phil currently teaches Mandarin for adults in a couple of community colleges around Sydney. As a senior teacher, Phil uses his unique teaching experiences to share his knowledge to all levels of student. Phil won the Excellence of Chinese Language Teaching Award (Chinese State Department) in November 2007 and he is a current committee member of Chinese Language Education Council of NSW.
