ABOUT THE COURSE

The French Conversation - Advanced course is for those people who have learnt French before and are wanting to revise and broaden their knowledge of the language in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

The course is structured in a series of 'steps' or lessons, which allows you to progess slowly or at your own pace through a series of exercises designed to improves your skills at understanding and speaking French.

The class comprises of the following:

-Regular class discussions on a set topic to allow you to develop basic skills in speaking French.

-Readings from books, magazines and newspapers to familiarise you with the many forms of the language in the contemporary enviroment.

-Regular written class exercises to revise basic grammer rules and syntax.

The classes are kept small so that each student has an opportunity to engage in the learning process.

-ABOUT JEAN ROCHE

Jean is a native French speaker and has worked as a translator, newsreader and broadcaster for the French services of Radio Australia in Melbourne between 1968 and 1995. Jean has also worked as a bi-lingual journalist for SBS before moving to Sydney in 2001.
