ABOUT THIS COURSE
In this term class Mitzi will introduce students to the foundations of abstract art, espcially painting in acrylics and mixed media. Abstract art is a personal expression of emotion , imagination and spontaneity and about enjoying the process of creation, experiencing the joy of playing with materials , colour, shape and design.
During this 7 week block we will investigate how to abstract the landscape. The focus will be on the elements of landscape and how an artist represents them on the picture plane. ... |
