STUDENTS & TUTORS ART EXHIBITION 2010

Centrehouse Community Arts & Leisure Centre had their first Students & Tutors Exhibition, which ran for 4 weeks over March & April of 2010.

The Exhibition showcased Paintings, Drawings, Ceramics, & Prints that were mainly produced during the art classes run by Centrehouse and it's talented tutors, throughout early 2010 and in 2009.

Artworks by our tutors from the kids classes, workshops and our adult term classes, included David Pavich, Marie James, Cilla Davis, Lyn Francis, Jann Dark, Joanne Hook, Elaine Witton, and Jane Blundell.

The opening night celebrations were enjoyed by over 70 people and was officially opened by the Mayor of Lane Cove, Win Gaffney.

An amazing print was donated by the extremely talented and distribguished print-maker, Bernhardine Mueller. Bernhardine has been teaching Printmaking at Centrehouse for many years and was instrumental in aquiring the two printing presses that we still use today.

A big thank you to Berhandine and  Lane Cove Framing, who generously donated the framing of  the print. The lucky winner of the raffle will be announced soon.
