ARTISTS PRINT ROOM HIRE

The Print Room is available for artists to hire out during the week to work individually or with a group of artists. 

Availability: 10am - 4.30pm Monday - Friday

Studio Hire Rates:  Individual Use: $8/hour or $38/day

                                    Students: $5/hour or $30/day

                                    Commercial Group/Rate: $20/hour

Artists must have experience in using printing presses. Centrehouse adopts a non-toxic printmaking environment and terms and conditions apply to the use of the facilities.

Printmaking has been practiced at Centrehouse Community Arts & Leisure Centre since the 1970\'s but it was not until 1992 that a dedicated Printmaking Studio was established. The Studio is equipped with two full size printing presses and a small screw press suitable for practicing a range of intaglio and relief methods.

Swinbourne Press - bed 59 x 92cm

Hilder Press - bed size 52 x 120cm

Screw Press - 30 x 45cm

A variety of blankets

Rollers - 2 large rollers 34.5cm

Light Box

A variety of silkscreens and squeegees

Work benches along one wall

Glass plates for inking up

Hotplate

Water trays

Some consumables available(must be replaced)
