DRAWING - THE FIRST STEPS

This 1 day workshop recognizes the importance of drawing and investigates the first steps in recording images. The first week covers the fundamentals of mark-making and how to draw simple objects. The second week looks at how this knowledge can be put into practice. The aim of this course is to equip the beginner with the skills to use drawing to record the world around them. ABOUT MITZI VARDILL Mitzi Vardill has been teaching art for over 18 years and gained her Masters Degree in Contemporary Arts for Educators from the Sydney College of the Arts (University of Sydney) in 2004. In her own work, Mitzi works from the figurative to the abstract in acrylics, mixed media, and watercolour.
