In conjunction with the Lane Cove Council, Centrehouse has been organising the Eve Vonwiller Youth Art Awards since 1995. These awards have been supporting and recognising the creative talents of 5 - 17 year olds throughout Sydney's North Shore and are dedicated to the memory of Eve Vonwiller, an inspiring and passionate art teacher who taught formany years at Centrehouse, initiating the recognition of the Youth Art Awards. Children and teenagers are invited to submit works of painting, drawing, printmaking, photography and sculpture inspired by a theme relating to living inthis special local and global community. This year's theme is "Summer with My Animal Friends".
